Wondering what to give up for Lent?
How about a little time out of your schedule to focus on THE CORE?
This time of year reaches into the CORE of our faith as we spend time examining, renewing, and strengthening our COREconnection with the One who created us! Thinking about Jesus’ journey to the Cross, we come face to face with a significant display of the strength in His spiritual and physical CORE.
Jesus’ Way to the Cross gives us many lessons about the importance of our own “CORE” strength as we seek to follow his Word which says, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” (Matt. 16:24)
Join us as we study Jesus’ great example of physical and spiritual strength that leads us to the RESTORE THE CORE of our Faith. We will explore how Jesus used this strength to carry out God’s Will for Him and what we might learn about building our own CORE strength to do the same in our own lives.
This NEW CLASS, CORE2CROSS, is a FREE beginning level faith-based Pilates class that provides an encouraging and uplifting exercise experience to those seeking to improve their health and well-being. We believe that through creating a strong spiritual core, we can build a strong physical CORE in order to take up The CROSS in our daily lives.
